The focus of the Center for Health and Wellness is prevention and healing with a patient centered approach to healthcare. Different from the premise of just treating illness, the patient centered approach partners with each individual to achieve their goals. Optimal health and wellness is the cornerstone to longevity. Whether starting in childhood, adolescence or adulthood it is never too late to make lifestyle changes that promote good health. Functional medicine is the foundation for our prevention based treatment protocols. Identifying the underlying causes of disease by focusing on the whole person and how the body’s systems are functioning- or malfunctioning- is an innovative and necessary change in healthcare delivery. Using a combination of both traditional and complementary treatments is a comprehensive way to integrate the best of both worlds. Incorporating education, nutrition, genetic science and lifestyle we will provide exceptional care based on established and emerging protocols for each patient’s individual needs. The use of comprehensive laboratory analysis for metabolic panels, vitamin and minerals, hormones, adrenal function, neurotransmitters, food and chemical sensitivities, viruses and others are commonly used in the practice. |
